Originally formed by a group of local Erie educators, Erie FCU has served the area since 1936. In May of 2003, the credit union was granted a Community Charter which allowed them to bring in new members who live, work, worship, or attend school in the county of Erie, PA.

In order to increase teller productivity, six interior remote tellers were utilized to allow tellers to interact with both interior and exterior customers more fluidly.

As marketing and member interaction was a key concern, a centralized greeter station became a pivotal component of the interior space. Regulating interior traffic flow around this allowed for more interaction with the greeter, and in turn, more exposure to marketing material.
